General:
– Guild rules will inevitably change over time. Members are expected to accept and adhere to new rules regardless of their personal opinions. Be mindful that the Guild Leadership tries to make decisions that are best for the guild as a whole and for the long term, which may not necessarily correspond to the best decision for you personally right now.
– Player can be benched due to following reasons; Coming late, voluntarily, poor performance.
– If you would have any questions at any time, always speak up. No matter the question.
– Raiders have the right to adhoc enchants, gems, flasks, pots, food, gear, and other consumables if available from the Guild Bank at a 50% current AH price discount. Contact an officer to make use of this.
– Guild bank donations are gladly accepted but will provide no tangible rewards except for sentimentals.
– There is no guild Tax.
– Feedback from you, while valuable and important to the overall performance of the team, should always be used in an orderly fashion: by whisper/discord dm to an officer with proper data feedback/reporting
– Warcraft logs will be used and by raiding with Odobros you are accepting to have your dps records shared
– DPS main raiders are required to maintain at least a 75 median parse across all raid tiers. This is not a “be all is all ” statement, as the nature of raiding includes deaths that is not due to personal misplays. Consider it a benchmark to strive for. Underperformers can result in bench
– Any player may voice their desire to reroll their main character with an administrative member officer/gm. This reroll may cause a loss of raid spot.
– Sign up for raids. Raid comp will be determined the night before raid. Neglecting to spend 2 seconds signing up may cause minus DKP
– Do not engage in any activity that will bring the guild’s name into disrepute. Behaviors such as spamming, ninjaing, begging, flaming, or other anti- social actions are not acceptable. Trolling is allowed.
Raiding
– If a raider is late and a replacement is found, the replacement shall not be made to give his spot up for the late raider.
– Raiders shall not distract from the raid at hand, and issues arising during raid not in need of immediate response should be brought up after the raid.
– To commit as much time as you can to see the raid through from start to finish. We understand that real life emergencies may come up during the raid, and that these emergencies would not count negatively against you. Abuse of the real life emergency exception will be dealt with accordingly.
– It’s the raider’s duty to be correctly gemmed, enchanted, geared with best in slot items possible before the raiding mode we’re progressing and using the consumables that best apply to their spec and according to the actual content.
– Knowingly not doing adhering to the above can result in bench and/or dkp minus.
– It is okay to miss a raid every once and a while. If you know you will be absent ahead of time, please message an officer in case adjustments need to be made. If a core raider misses two or more raids during progression, he may be benched until his game time returns to normal.
– Raids are considered to have transitioned from progression to farm status when they can be cleared within one raid day without a full wipe, at which point it is STILL required to use consumables to maintain a steady efficient raiding environment.
– To come to a raid “Ready to Go”. This means:
– No damaged Gear.
– You are stocked up on reagents “as best you can” so it will not disrupt the raid.
– You are stocked up on consumables “as best you can” so it will not disrupt the raid.
– Addons installed and functioning.
– “as best you can ” what you can carry and determine is enough for the raid at hand. If wipe fest and consumes are expanded rapidly, this is obviously okay.
– If you can’t attend a raid, you must let us know why you can’t attend in #absence channel as soon as possible. All raiders have the right to be 10 minutes late, as long as they warn the Raid Leader/GM/officer as soon as possible using the proper channels. Abuse can result in a DKP minus.
– If you are ” Ready to Go” you may show up at any time prior to raid start. Given you are in the raid and instance and ready to pull at 19:30.
– Raiders are always expected to be prepared for the upcoming encounters. Even though the raid leader most of the time will do a quick run through the tactics, to setup the game plan, every raider is expected to know the fight no matter if they’ve completed it before or not.
– Odobros aims to have a calm raiding environment, but we also have our goals of reaching cutting edge in tiers. Therefore there might be times where people will be called out for doing something wrong. We believe this is the fastest way to teach one and each other. How can one improve if not knowing their mistakes? Raid leader/officers/Guildmaster is no exception.
– This list of rules apply to any progression raid, 25 or 10 man officially hosted by Odobros. 10 mans can be scheduled and carried out by Odobro raiders in an unofficial manner that can use “house rules”.
– Pay attention We are all seasoned enough players where we shouldn’t be dying to simple stuff in raids. Watch where you should stand and shouldn’t stand.
Loot distribution:
Odobros will use DKP this expansion in order to create an even more transparent way of distributing loot. Below are rules that apply.
– Everyone ready for the first raid are given 20 DKP.
– At the start of every raid 10 DKP is given to everyone that is considered ready (this means you are not AFK and are in the dungeon). DKP is also always given to those on standby.
– Every hour of the raid, everyone in the raid as well as those on Standby are granted 10 DKP.
– At the end of the raid, everyone is given an additional 10 DKP.
– Each week (Wednesday mornings), all DKP decays with 10%.
– Each new tier/phase – all DKP decays with 80%.
– Each item is being auctioned openly with a start price of 1 DKP. Auctioning is open. Off spec pieces are given out via roll. If you can use it, minimum price is 1 DKP. You can go in negative if you are the only one needing an item and wins it for min bid.
– Trinkets and weapons will be slightly different. 1) They will carry a min- bid to be determined per raid tier. 2) There will be a prio list for weapons. This is to ensure that e.g. a hunter will not be able to bid on a weapon which would benefit the raid more if it initially went to a melee.
– Anyone not being able to bid for an item due to issues with addon or not whispering master looter in time forfeits their right to the item.
– The guild leadership reserves the right to award negative DKP if you behave like a cunt.
